Why Do The Work?

I came to a pivotal point on my journey of self-awareness, a moment that was marked by an overwhelming desire to step away from the relentless pursuit of self-awareness itself. I found myself questioning the very essence of why I felt compelled to continuously examine my cycles and patterns, striving to "do better" in every aspect of my life. Was there a way for me to simply exist, to just be, without the constant pressure to improve? I longed for a reprieve from this introspective journey, feeling uncertain about how it would truly benefit me in the long run. This internal struggle led me to make a conscious decision to take my question to the land during a reflective walk in nature. The process I follow is quite intuitive: I set a clear intention or pose a question to myself, and then I venture into the world, allowing that question to dissipate as I immerse myself in the present moment. I find that, eventually, the answers I seek often come to me in the most unexpected and ways. In fact, this particular instance I couldn't get to sleep without noting this down.

"Why do the work? The more I notice my reactions, my thoughts and my behaviors the more I feel the energy of those things. Doing the work brings a goodness to my body and mind, a calmness that is so soothing. When I notice a pattern or voice that doesn’t serve me I feel the weight of that, it is heavy and sits there like If I had a dumbbell tied to a necklace hanging off my neck. The more I notice this weight the more I can bring the story or belief that is weighing me down. This is where the real work begins. To bring awareness to it, not judge it, rather see it with compassion and then interact with it in a way that the weight can be released and more goodness a comes in. That goodness feels good in the body and brings joy to my body and ripples out to everyone and everything around me. This is the reason to do the work."

The more I have engaged in this work the more goodness I feel and the more goodness I can share with others. This work has allowed me to take off this weighted necklace and it gives me the energy to take off more of this weight as I become aware of it. This is not unique to me, this is something each one of us possesses and each one of us has the power to create for ourselves. There are many ways to regain this within ourselves and one of those ways is through nature connected coaching. Just being out in nature connects grounds us and quiets us down enough to start to tap in to what the body is telling us, and with that information we can be the goodness we all seek.

The deeper I delve into this work, the more goodness I experience in my life, and consequently, the more goodness I am able to share with those around me. This transformative journey has enabled me to remove that weighted necklace, granting me the energy and motivation to shed even more of the burdens I once carried as I become increasingly aware of them. It is essential to note that this experience is not unique to me; it is a universal truth that resides within each of us. Every individual possesses the inherent power to cultivate this awareness and create positive change in their own lives. There are numerous pathways to rediscover this inner strength, and one particularly effective method is through nature-connected coaching. Immersing ourselves in nature serves to ground us and quiet our minds, providing the space needed to tap into the wisdom our bodies are continually conveying. With this newfound awareness, we can embody the goodness that we all inherently seek, fostering a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us.

Exploring the Possibilities

As you dive into this work, consider the myriad possibilities that lie ahead. Each idea serves as a stepping stone towards innovation and growth, inviting you to explore new perspectives for yourself. Whether you are looking to enhance your understanding, implement practical solutions, or inspire others, the potential for transformation is vast. Embrace the opportunity to engage with these ideas, adapt them to your unique being, to create the life of goodness for yourself.
